Our Breeding Philosophy
 Our desire is to provide customers with dogs equal in quality to those of our breeding program and our personal hunting partners. The breedings we choose are from parents with the most proven pedigrees.  This breeding approach is strongly influenced by our experience as pointing Lab trainers. We find that pups from selective breedings most consistently possess the characteristics we desire in our personal pointing Labs: strong natural pointing and retrieving ability, hunting desire and performance, intelligence, trainability, confidence, style, and a sound, positive, and loving personality.  Mary Ann & Matt

We are largely out of the breeding business.  

We do have a very limited number of frozen samples for Zeiss.

We CPR titled Zeiss after just one month of upland training with us.  We have already had a litter from Zeiss and that has produced outstanding pointing lab pups, including a yellow male that we have kept for our own. At 1 year of age, his son (our Frosty) is an upland hunting/pointing "machine". We could not be more proud to offer Zeiss to the breeding community.

  • As strong of a natural pointer as we have seen! Identified as natural pointer by field trial trainers who noticed repeated pointing on bird crates.  Consistently produces "tripod" points.

  • Titled as CPR after just 1 month of upland training

  • Pups from Zeiss' first pointing lab breeding were ALL impressive natural pointers at just 6 weeks

  • Outstanding Field Trial competitor - FC at a young 4 years of age

  • Absolutely no "hyperness".  Incredibly "stable" and focused worker.
